20 Weeks

Well, we are officially half way there!  I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is going by. All the traveling we have done seems to help with the going by and the next few months it doesn't look like it will go by any slower.  We have Josiah's birthday, Mommy and Daddy's anniversary, trip to Florida with the youth group, trip to Vermont with our little family, another ultrasound, your Reveal Party,  Mommy's birthday, then Josiah starts school...October looks like it will be a quite month (except for all the organizing that I will want to do to get ready for your arrival) and then November will be here before we know it. We are so excited to meet you, but want you to stay put for awhile longer.  Keep growing and moving around.  I don't think it will be much longer before Daddy, Josiah and Sophie will be able to feel you kicking!

A bit modest

Well, we went on Monday to have our ultrasound.  We found out that you are growing like you are suppose to and look healthy!  We praise the Lord that everything looks good.  We were trying to find out if you are a boy or a girl, so we could have a reveal party in July.  Let's just say you are a little modest and wouldn't let the tech get a good look.  We tried everything...Mommy going to the bathroom to give you some room, talking to you and the tech pushing on my belly, but you wouldn't budge.  We have rescheduled your party for August and hopefully you won't be as secretive at our 3D ultrasound in August.  Even though, we would have liked to have found out, we are much more excited to hear that you are healthy.  Keep growing little one and know that you are already loved very much!

On the road again...and again

Well,  Baby G has traveled more in this pregnancy than any of the other kids.  Baby G has been to Tennessee, Northern Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Georgia.  In a couple more weeks, Baby G will be going to Daytona Beach and then to Vermont.  One benefit of all this travel is that it is making this pregnancy go by so much faster!  I can't believe that we are already at 19 weeks and will be going to our ultrasound appointment on Monday!  We won't be finding out quite yet what we will be having.  On July 23rd, we will be having a reveal party at our church and will find out if Baby G is a boy or a girl.  We just got back from GA on Tuesday.  The kids were super-duper fliers.  I flew with them by myself while Chris stayed home and worked.  I'm so thankful we have kids that like to fly and are so easy going.   They stayed pretty busy while in GA...we went swimming every afternoon, went peach picking, Josiah went fishing for the first time with his Uncle Toady and Auntie Shue, we roasted marshmallows on the fire, lite sparklers one night, had a Thomas birthday party for Josiah and went bowling with his Papa Gig.  I'm sure there was plenty more that we did, but that seems like the highlight for the kids.  Sophie really liked being in the pool and the last day there, she swam to the stairs all by herself (she was wearing a life jacket).  I will be posting pictures from the trip as soon as I get the CD from my mom--didn't really want to tote a camera around the airport while keeping up with two kids and growing another one! Laughing

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer as much as we are.  I will try to do a better job updating, but as you can see we have been staying pretty busy.
